The New Venture Championship (NVC), presented by the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business, is proud to announce its 16 competing teams.
The college’s signature business plan competition was founded in a time when investment competitions were nearly nonexistent. Now in its 31st year, NVC draws young entrepreneurs from around the world who hope to take advantage of the competition’s unique opportunities and put their business on a path to success.
Although claiming a piece of the $50,000 in total cash awards can go a long way in making a business dream a reality, the real draw of the competition is the chance to network with angel investors and receive feedback from the industry leaders who serve on NVC’s judging panel.
After a period of deliberation, NVC’s judges have selected the 16 teams who will advance to the next round of competition, the virtual group round. They’ll now vie to become one of the eight semifinalist teams who will go on to represent their universities in-person in Portland, Oregon, on April 29-30, 2022. Semifinalist teams will be announced April 5.
The Lundquist College extends its thanks to all the teams who participated in the initial selection round. To the following teams and their schools, we extend our congratulations:
